Moon Cat Café

Zigzag shape with white color and filling with thick edges.

Moon Cat Café , as the name suggests, is a cat-themed café where you can also interact with cats (and even adopt them, if you fall in love with one).

Logo written Moon Cat Café, with the letter O having a shadow of a cat.

The first idea for the coffee shop's logo was more direct, just using typography and a picture of a cat, as if it were contemplating the moon, in the word 'Moon'.

However, I needed the logo to be a little rounder, so that it would convey a more cozy and welcoming message, the sharp points of the font were not conveying this feeling.

That's when the new illustration came about, which was also a cat, but lying down, and larger, so that it could dictate the entire rhythm of the logo.

This change in the illustration was essential to the final result of the logo.

From there, I used a more fun font, as if written by hand, and a circle, also as if made with a pen, to make the logo more pleasant and convey the message I wanted.

From the finished logo, we were able to choose the color palette, which was designed to refer to the café, also with a cozy message. And with that, we created the entire layout of the Moon Cat Café brand's social networks and products.
